WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF A CHILD GROWING UP IN POVERTY?
If the mother gave birth as a teen
If the parents were unmarried when child was born
If the mother did not receive high school diploma or GED
For every problem there is a solution, and our solution is Christ-centered!
Since 1989, the Teen Mother Choices comprehensive programs have offered a long-term solution that requires a
long-term commitment from each young mom. On average, the participant remains in the program for three-years.
Without intervention, young moms will fall prey to the welfare system and that is a cycle we want to help break.
The program does not enable behaviors, as accountability is given by balancing grace and truth. The ministry equips, empowers and imparts God's Word and love to teen mothers and their children,
so they too can live an abundant life.
In 2015, the number of teen births between the ages of 13-23 in Palm Beach County was 2,547. In the same year, for the state of Florida it was 48,426
